For the Owner
For the Owner: export your data and read the audit log
Download everything your firm and its clients have put into Qadiyo, files included, and see who did what.
Before you start
Export CSV on Leads needs permission to export leads (Owner, Admin, Partner and Intake Manager). The audit log needs permission to view it (Owner, Admin and Partner).
Only the Owner can download the data export. It holds client documents, KYC files and signed letters in one file. Save it somewhere your firm controls.
Steps
To export a list of enquiries
Open Leads, choose a view or filters, and select Export CSV. You get the same filters, and only what you can already see.
To download the export (Owner only)
Open Settings, then Data export.
Select Download zip. If your firm has many uploaded files, the page shows several buttons instead, Download part N of M. Download every part: you have the whole export only when you have them all.
Open the zip and read README.txt first. It lists every file in the zip and what it is.
To see who did what
Open Settings, then Audit log. Choose a Type, for example lead or member, and select Filter. Read When, Who, What, Record and Details. Select Newer or Older for more pages.
What the export holds
- A spreadsheet (CSV) for each kind of record. For example: contacts, enquiries, clients, notes, the timeline, tasks, conflict checks and past matters, consultations, document requests, KYC files, engagement letters and templates, your team and the audit log. These are examples, not the full list: README.txt in the zip lists every file, and the page lists every kind of record.
- A letters folder: every engagement letter that was sent to a client, as a page you can open in a browser and print or save as a PDF. A signed letter shows the name typed, the time, the internet address and the fingerprint of the text that was signed. The drawn signature is beside it as a picture.
- An uploaded-files folder: every file your clients uploaded or your team added, KYC documents included, in a folder for each enquiry. The file uploaded_files.csv lists them all.
- Your logo and profile picture, and organization.json with your firm's settings.
- At the end of each zip, files-check.csv shows whether every uploaded file arrived and matches its record.
Dates are in UTC. Part 1 holds the records, the letters and your logo. Every part holds uploaded files.
What it does not include
- Anything that works as a key or a private link: client page links, website connection keys, invitation links, the hosted enquiry form link and the email forwarding address. The export shows that each one exists, not the link or key itself, because anyone holding a copy of the export could then use it. If one of these links was typed or pasted somewhere else, in a note for example, it is replaced there by a short note too.
- Sign-in passwords.
- Files that were deleted in Qadiyo. The record of the file stays, with the date it was deleted.
- Attachments on forwarded emails. Qadiyo keeps their names on the timeline, not the files.
- Qadiyo's own records about your subscription: the price agreed, the invoices sent to you, and the sign-up invitation Qadiyo sent to your firm's first Owner. Invoices reach you by email.
- Qadiyo's own details: what each AI suggestion cost Qadiyo to produce, and the name, IP address and browser of Qadiyo staff. The audit log still shows what Qadiyo changed on your firm's account and when.
The page lists the same under What is not included, and why.
What happens next
Each download is recorded in the audit log, and the page shows the last one. When the export is downloaded, every Owner gets an email saying who downloaded it and when, at most once in 24 hours. Qadiyo has no screen to edit or remove audit entries. Conflict checks, consultation bookings, document actions and KYC decisions appear under the type lead.
If something looks wrong
- There is no download button, and the page says Only the Owner can download the export. Ask the Owner if you need a copy.
- A zip will not open: the download stopped before it finished. Download that part again.
- In place of the button, the page says the export has been downloaded 5 times in the last 24 hours. That is the most allowed for each zip. Wait until the time shown, or write to hello@qadiyo.com.
- The download does not start from a saved or pasted address. Start it from the button on the page.
- files-check.csv says a file is not included: write to hello@qadiyo.com and quote that line.
- There is no Export CSV button: your role cannot export leads.
- To ask about records the export does not include, write to hello@qadiyo.com.
