Tasks and notifications

The Tasks page, the bell, and which emails Qadiyo sends you.

Before you start

Tasks come from two places. You add them on an enquiry, and your firm's automatic rules add some, such as "Contact [name] about their enquiry" for a new enquiry or "Follow up with [name]" when a follow-up is overdue. The Tasks page is open to every staff role except Marketing and View Only.

Steps

  1. Select Tasks in the menu. The views are Today, Overdue, Upcoming, My tasks (the default), Team (only if you can see everyone's tasks) and Completed.

  2. Read each row: the title, the enquiry it belongs to, the priority, who it is assigned to and when it is due. Select the enquiry reference to open it.

  3. Tick the box to complete a task.

  4. To add a task, open the enquiry and use Add a task in the Tasks card. The Tasks page has no add button.

  5. Select the bell (Notifications) to see what the rules want you to know: new enquiries, replies, assignments, missed response targets, and conflict or KYC decisions waiting. Select a title to open the enquiry. Select Mark all N as read to clear them.

  6. Under Emails to me, tick or untick Morning briefing. Owners and Partners also see Partner report.

What happens next

Overdue tasks show as a number on Tasks in the menu and on your Dashboard. A dot on the bell means unread notifications. Some notifications are also emailed, for example urgent enquiries, missed response targets and assignments.

If something looks wrong

  • A view says Nothing here. Nothing matches. Try My tasks or Overdue.
  • You do not see Tasks: your role does not include it.
  • You ticked a task by mistake. There is no undo on the page. Add a new task, and tell your Owner.
  • No briefing email: check Emails to me. The briefing only goes out when you have something to act on, and only on plans that include it.
