Service terms, in plain language

How plans, invoices and plan changes work, what the AI does and does not do, and what your firm is responsible for.

About these terms

These terms apply to law firms that subscribe to Qadiyo and to the people they invite to use it. By using Qadiyo, your firm agrees to them.

Plans and prices

Prices are per firm, in dirhams (AED), as shown on the pricing page. Extra users on Essentials and Professional cost AED 79 a month each.

Your plan sets how many users you have and, on Professional and Firm, how many AI analyses you can use each month.

Invoices and payment

We invoice monthly and you pay by bank transfer. If you choose to pay yearly, you pay for ten months and get twelve.

Invoices are due within 14 days, in the currency shown on the invoice.

If an invoice is still unpaid 30 days after its due date, we will remind you in writing and may then pause access until it is paid. We never delete your data because of late payment.

Changing plans

Upgrades start straight away, and the new price applies from your next monthly invoice.

Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing month, so you keep what you have paid for until then.

Stopping

Tell us in writing if you want to stop using Qadiyo. You keep access until the end of the billing month you have paid for, and you can export your data before then.

AI suggestions

On Professional and Firm, the AI summarises enquiries, suggests a practice area and urgency, scores leads and drafts replies. These are suggestions for your team to check. They are not legal advice.

The AI never sends a message by itself. A person on your team decides what to send and to whom.

Your responsibilities

  • Your firm is responsible for its communications with clients and for any advice it gives.
  • Your firm must have the right to collect and use the client information it puts into Qadiyo.
  • Keep sign-in details safe, and remove people from Qadiyo when they leave your firm.

Your data

Your firm controls its client data, and we handle it only on your instructions. Our privacy notice explains what we store, who processes it and where.

Confidentiality

Each of us keeps the other's non-public information private and uses it only for this service.

Our team looks at your firm's client data only when you ask us for support, and only as much as needed.

Data breaches

If we find a security breach affecting your firm's data, we will tell you without undue delay and in any case within 72 hours, explain what happened and what we are doing, and help you with anything you need to report.

Keeping the service running

We work to keep Qadiyo available and working well. Now and then we may need short breaks for maintenance, and we will try to schedule them outside working hours.

Limit of liability

Our total liability to your firm is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and the DIFC Courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will tell your firm by email before the change takes effect.
